Stig - A Civic Tech App for Citizen Participation
Stig is a free Civic Tech application that enables citizens to collaborate and build the general will for France and each city. With Stig, you can propose an idea, vote for or against other proposals, and improve them with amendments. The app ranks the ideas based on their success, putting citizens at the heart of the legislative process.
Stig offers a variety of features, including multi-scale options to switch between ideas that concern France and those that concern your city. You can share your ideas and needs, vote anonymously or publicly, and collaborate with other citizens to improve their ideas. The app also allows you to debate and discuss each idea with its author, and view the success of each idea in real-time through StigScore.
Stig also offers chronological and success-based ranking of citizen ideas, a Parliament account to follow real-time legislative news and vote like members, and a public activity feed of the citizens you follow. You can explore citizen ideas through categories and filters, search for new ones, and set favorites and receive notifications on new amendments and feedback. Lastly, you can use the "Ideas to chance" mode to swipe left or right to vote and connect to Stig with your Facebook, Google, or email account.
